My work is rooted in drawing and shaped by underground comix, punk graphics, lowbrow art, illustration, and music culture. I make exaggerated figures, strange characters, portraits, and creatures that move between humor, discomfort, absurdity, and the occasional bit of menace.
Most pieces begin with drawing. Some remain one-of-a-kind graphite or ink originals; others are developed digitally into finished works and prints. Even when working digitally, I want the image to retain the irregularity, decisions, and physical energy of something drawn by hand.
I am especially interested in faces, bodies, gesture, distortion, and character—the point where something recognizable becomes slightly strange. The subject may be a punk, a goblin, an invented personality, or simply a face that appeared while drawing.
Alongside this work, I continue to make Digital Works, Hybrid Works, and Still Here Studies. Give Life Goods is a separate project centered on organ donation, transplant, recovery, and resilience.
